Dayton has been playing music of multiple genres
since he was twelve. More recently he has played
bass professionally in rock band named The Better
Half based in Ashland, Oregon. Since the project
has expired in 2004, the 22 year old has been
writing his own music and has collected a solid
album's worth of slightly alternative acoustic music
with a definitive rock background. The album
tenativley titled Stranded, produces a variety of
story told songs with unusual, multi-styled chords
and melodic choruses along with rare instrument
sounds such as the GuQin, ( China's oldest stringed
instrument) as well as The French Horn and the
occasional vocal use of of a megaphone. The L.P.
release date is set for Fall 2006.
